Description:  The room was very spacious, and there was a gap underneath the bed and a lift large enough to accommodate our mobile hoist. All rooms are accessible by lift, but only one is adapted with a lowered sink and roll-in shower. The room we stayed in had a bath, and the bathroom was not very big, so it is important to book the correct room if you require a wet room. There is a free car park with no height restriction, but there are no designated blue badge spaces. The hotel is also pet friendly. There is also a lift to the restaurant. There is one step to go outside to the lake, which was too large for a power chair, but the staff was very helpful and opened a step-free side gate for us. The lake is beautiful, and some rooms have a lake view. There is one step to get onto the pier. Our room overlooked the car park and the motorway, but it was very quiet when the windows were shut.

The hotel offered affordable rates and included a delicious breakfast in the price. It is conveniently situated a 15-minute drive from Gravesend train station, which provides direct trains to London Bridge Station in just under an hour.
