Description: We were amazed by its accessibility for wheelchair users.
The lifts allowed us to go to the door of the Concorde and inside the Britannia plane. There were disabled toilets and a changing room available on site as well as plenty of disabled parking. Tickets are valid for unlimited visits for a year
**free carer’s ticket **
There is a gift shop and a cafe. An amazing place to visit for the whole family. Aerospace Bristol is committed to providing an exceptional experience for all visitors, and they recommend you allow at least three hours to enjoy your visit.we welcome all guide and assistance dogs for any visitor. Set over two buildings – a grade II listed WW1 hangar and the new purpose-built Concorde hangar – the museum site is fully accessible by those using wheelchair. There is level access to all areas of the site for assistance dogs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters including the entrance, galleries and café, and they have a wheelchair height Admissions desk. The museum has wheelchair accessible lifts in both hangars, as well as two dedicated accessible lifts to allow visitors in wheelchairs to board the Britannia and Concorde. However, Concorde was sadly not designed with easy access in mind and has a very narrow aisle between the seats. There are benches located throughout the museum to allow all our visitors to take a moment’s rest and enjoy the exhibits at your leisure. The museum has easy access toilets, and disabled changing facilities registered with Changing Places. The museum has two wheelchairs available for visitor use
